Glee
i posted this on facebook, but what is the point of Glee if they autotune the shit out of the songs?
i’ve never watched a full episode, only clips of what people have shown me. from my understanding it’s supposed to be about a bunch of kids who love music so much that they go out of their comfort zones facing all sorts of harrassment to be a part of Glee club.
great! a show promoting music and musicals, something we Americans proudly call our own sense of culture. this gives kids interest in music and singing, rather than playing games or other stuff.
“the music on Glee is so good!”. no shit. where are all the original songs? the showmakers autotune the shit out of the COVERS OF POPULAR HITS. and that’s why glee sucks. a show about music, but they let kids think that just because they want to sing it will sound like a professional studio recording.
I DONT WANT TO HEAR PEOPLE SING LIKE ROBOTS. I WANT TO SEE WHAT TALENT THEY TRULY HAVE. hearing/seeing a live mistake almost makes me jizz in my pants because it proves that they are actually doing something rather than relying on a computer to sound good
