weekend
So tired…busy busy weekend
friday night: went to Karaoke competition (to watch not to sing) to support jeff and CSA. it sucked. probably one of the worst hosted things i’ve been to. and this was run by Berkeley students…but hey i guess they tried, it just wasn’t put together very well. people really take singing for granted. since this was for money, i expected the people who sang to actually be okay, but they were HORRID PERFORMERS. TERRIBLE. only a couple of the guys i actually thought had some decent musical training, but everyone else? trying to act like pop stars with their fancy clothes and cute shout outs, but terrible at performing. bad singers, bad stage stage manners, simply embarrassing to watch.
after that a couple guys went back to jeff’s house to hang out. slept over too tired to do anything
saturday: showed friends around town, tired. went to stanford at night, too tired to do anything. went home and slept. didn’t study for midterm at all.
sunday: woke up early to go to Half Moon Bay with stanford flute ensemble. it was fun seeing everyone, talking to old people about long island ice teas, seeing familiar flute faces. watching a “professional” flute player get owned by a 14 year old girl who started the piece 2 days ago rofl. tired tired tired. time to study for midterm
